Growing the next generation of exceptional teachers is very important to us at Orwell Multi Academy Trust. We work with a number of high-quality initial teacher training (ITT) organisations to provide diverse, well-supported pathways into the profession.

We are proud to offer our own, Orwell teacher training places through the Colchester Teacher Training Consortium (CTTC). In addition, we host trainee teachers from EAST SCITT and NESTT (Norfolk, Essex & Suffolk Teacher Training), giving applicants a choice of routes and programme styles to suit their needs.

Training within our Trust means learning from experienced, skilled practitioners in schools that value professional development and strong mentoring. Our partner ITT organisations provide excellent, research-informed programmes, and together we ensure trainees are well-prepared for a successful career in teaching.
