About the Role

This is a key role in our school community. As Site Supervisor, you will ensure the school site, buildings, and facilities are well cared for, secure, and safe for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will take pride in making the school a welcoming and well-maintained space that reflects our high standards.

 

You will be responsible for:

• Day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and DIY across the site

• Site security, including keyholding, alarm systems, and emergency call-outs

• Health and safety checks, record-keeping, and fire safety compliance

• Supporting the cleaning and upkeep of buildings, playgrounds, and grounds

• Supervising contractors and liaising with external services

• Contributing to the long-term development and upkeep of the school estate

• Maintaining the school swimming pool, including water quality checks and compliance with safety standards

 

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience in caretaking, maintenance, or site supervision

• Has good practical skills in DIY, basic plumbing, decorating, and manual handling

• Understands health and safety, COSHH, and site security procedures

• Is well organised, proactive, and takes initiative

• Can communicate clearly with staff, contractors, and external agencies

• Is committed to working flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours call outs

• Wants to contribute to the life and success of our school community
