We need your skills and enthusiasm to make our vision a reality and having taken our first steps we are now seeking an Assistant SENCo to join us on this exciting journey.

 

We need you to be the key that unlocks learning and inspires increased self-worth in our children by… 

 

  • Assisting the SENDCO in implementing the school's SEND policy and provision, demonstrating ambition for all children regardless of need
  • Offering professional guidance to colleagues and collaborating closely with staff, parents and external agencies. 
  • Being an exceptional teacher with a commitment and ability to help all children achieve and thrive.
  • Showing an understanding of how to assess and meet the needs of SEND pupils so that outcomes improve as a result of any adapted or additional provision you make.
  • Showing commitment to the inclusion of pupils with SEND in all aspects of school life.
  • Having a passion for developing your own knowledge and skills in relation to SEND and the leadership of this area.
