Jason Addison - Commercial

16 years’ experience of working in the corporate world of the electricity supply industry, together with 8 years’ experience for a family run business.

 

Fr. Paul Carter, Vicar, St Bartholomew’s, Ipswich - Community (Vice Chair of the Trust)

A foundation governor in a Church of England Voluntary Aided (initially Grant Maintained) Primary School in Essex for nine years, serving as Chair for eight.  He served on the Diocesan Education Committee for four years.  He was an LA governor in a large urban primary school in Suffolk for eleven years, and chair for ten.

 

Stella Day - HR

Founding Company Director of Blue Star Human Resources Ltd, providing HR consultancy services to public and private sector organisations.

 

Sohail Faruqi, Eastern Regional Director, Teach First - Education

Teach First Regional Director for the East of England. Sohail was appointed in April 2015 to develop and grow services in this Region.

 

Roger Fern - Education (Chair of the Trust)

Worked in education in Suffolk since 1965, as a teacher, advisory teacher, Head teacher, Local Authority Adviser and Inspector.

 

Max Harnden - Legal

Max is a partner at Gotelee solicitors, specialising in Business Law. He acts for a wide range of business clients from large companies and professional partnerships to sole traders and small family run concerns. He advises on a wide range of business issues, including mergers and acquisitions, director and shareholder relations and commercial contracts.

 

 Anna Hennell James - CEO

Headteacher for 16 years of two large primary schools.  Seconded to Halifax Primary in 2006 and led the school out of special measures.  School Improvement Partner and Local Leader of Education (LLE). Supported Headteacher colleagues as a mentor and Professional Partner, and worked with schools that were without a permanent Headteacher at the direction of the LA. Instrumental in the establishment of Teach First in the Ipswich area.  Eastern region representative on the Teach First National Forum.

 

Jason Kirk - Finance

A chartered certified accountant with over 20 years experience in the public sector including the London Ambulance Service, University College London Hospitals and more recently Ipswich Hospital.

 

Darren Pearl  - H&S and Premises

11 years’ experience of working in the corporate world of property, managing the buying, selling and development of some of Ipswich's residential and business market. As a partner of Hamilton Smith Estate Agents, he currently leads a team of 5 people and during a successful career has developed skills covering change, people management, property management and budgeting.
